History of Appliance Tech-Care Services, Inc.

Appliance Tech-Care Services, Inc. was established in 1976. We served the Racine-Kenosha area repairing almost all brands of residential and commercial appliances. These include all types of appliance repair service, washer & dryer repair service, ranges, stoves & oven repair service refrigerator repair service, dishwashers, trash compactors, InSinkErators, freezers, coolers, garbage disposers and any other appliances such as microwave oven repair service.

In 1986, Appliance Tech-Care Services, Inc. took over Central Appliance Service, a company that provided service on Maytag and InSinkErator appliances.

In 1990, we purchased Novak Appliance Service Dept. which operated in Racine for over 50 years. We still offer parts for DIY people and professional in-home services for people who need to keep their appliances in tip-top working condition.

About the owner

Don is the owner and head service technician for Appliance Tech-Care Services, Inc. He graduated from Kenosha Technical Institute — now known as Gateway Technical Institute — with a degree in Hydraulics and Pneumatics. Later he went on the teach night classes at Gateway for 3 years in basic fluid power and pneumatics. He has also completed the courses to get an EPA certification for refrigerant handling. He has also completed numerous factory appliance training seminars to keep up on the latest advancements in appliance technology.
